The objective of the Norwegian Film Institute is to preserve, support and distribute Norwegian and foreign films, so that film as an expression of art and culture becomes more visible. The Institute's primary objectives are to preserve and restore films, to distribute and screen films, to market and inform about films in Norway, to market Norwegian films abroad. The Norwegian Film Institute is under the authority of the Ministry of Cultural Affairs, and the goals in the area of film which have been adopted by the Storting (Parliament), govern the Institute's activities.

The Austrian Film Museum (OeFM) has two fundamental missions: 1) to preserve, research, enrich and relate to the public the collection of films and objects which the Museum has acquired since its foundation; 2) to exhibit the medium of film in all its dimensions and historical forms, working with the collection as well as with loans from other sources. The Film Museum is a specific exhibition space (film as a time-based event, the experience of a performative act), a collection site and archive (film as an artefact, as local and global memory), a research and study centre, as well as a place for public debate and reflection (film as a nodal point of discourse on culture and society). Financially supported by the Austrian government and the City of Vienna as well as by private sponsors and through income from membership and admission fees, the Film Museum’s double role in Austrian cultural life is that of an art historical museum as well as a museum of 20th century history - both in relation to the film medium.

OWH TV Studio is the only NGO in Moldova that promotes the values of a democratic society using audio and video means. Being graduates from the Academy of Theatre and Film from Bucharest and of other European institutions, the OWH TV Studio team take part in the mass media and cinema life of Moldova offering a new and original perspective of social events. OWH TV Studio was created in 1995. At first, the studio was launched as a laboratory for young TV producers to develop their skills in the field of audio and video technologies. In time, the activities of the studio ceased to be limited to instructive projects for young producers. Thus, a new professional enviroment was created, which had as an imperative to create TV production of the highest quality. In 1999, OWH TV Studio was registered as an independent institution. At present, our developing strategy includes three main directions: concept creation, production and education.

The Polish Film Institute (Polski Instytut Sztuki Filmowej) is the newest film institute in Europe, established in 2005 in accordance with the new cinema law, passed by the Polish Parliament. The Institute's principal task is to provide the Polish film industry with modern support mechanisms - from the development of projects and production, to promotion, distribution and circulation of Polish and European films. We support films from a concept to the screen, with particular emphasis on international co-productions. The Polish Film Institute wants to draw Polish viewers back to the theatres to watch Polish films and, at the same time, to make them worth of seeing and accessible to international audiences, particularly in Europe. The Institute welcomes all foreign partners - producers, distributors and filmmakers alike - interested in any forms of collaboration with the Polish film industry.
