Free Speech TV is a publicly-supported, independent, non-profit TV channel that is a project of Public Communicators, Inc. It is available nationally via satellite. Free Speech TV broadcasts independently-produced documentaries dealing with social, political, cultural, and environmental issues.

HBO (Home Box Office) was launched in 1972 in the USA. HBO Czech Republic has been broadcasting since 1994. Its in-house production took off in 2004 with the stand-up comedy series Na Stojáka. HBO's Uncensored series (Bez cenzury) supports compelling documentary proposals on current subjects, e.g., Erotic Nation (2009, dir: Peter Begányi), Heaven Hell (2010, dir: David Čálek). Other documentary films made with HBO's assistance include: Take It Jeasy! (2008, dir: Tereza Nvotová), Welcome to North Korea! (2009, dir: Linda Jablonská), For Semafor (2010, dir: Miroslav Janek), Saving Edwards (2010, dir: Dagmar Smržová), Body Temples (2010, dir: Ivan Pokorný), Tantra (2010, dir: Benjamin Tuček), A Catapult of Fate (2011, dir: Jan Gogola ml.), Generation Singles (2011, dir: Jana Počtová), Venku (Out, 2011, dir: Veronika Sobková). HBO Czech Republic also supported Jaroslav Fuit's first feature Dvojka (2009).

HBO Europe currently provides basic and premium channels to fifteen countries: Hungary, the Czech Republic, Slovakia, Poland, Romania, Bulgaria, Moldova, Slovenia, Croatia, Serbia, Kosovo, Montenegro, Macedonia and Bosnia and Herzegovina; in the Netherlands HBO operates a joint venture with Ziggo BV. HBO Europe offers five high quality movie channels (HBO, HBO2, HBO Comedy, Cinemax and Cinemax2); subscribers can also choose high definition. Croatian Radio Television (HRT) is one of the most important institutions for the presentation and enhancement of musical art, primarily through its music television and radio programs and activities of its ensembles. It was founded by the Republic of Croatia, and its structure and work is defined by the HRT Law (Official Gazette, no. 25/2203), and provisions adopted in compliance with the law. The HRT functions as a public radio and television service and offers programme content of public interest, which is prescribed by the HRT Law, and controlled by the public through the work of the HRT Programme Council and on the basis of regular reports submitted to the Croatian parliament by the HRT Director General.

The Humanistische Omroep (HUMAN) is one of the smaller public broadcasting oragnizations in the Netherlands. It is a public service association. HUMAN produces programmes for Dutch television, makes radio talk shows and interactive websites.

MTVA is the media service provider and asset manager of MTV, Duna TV, MR and MTI. MTVA is the public TV broadcaster in Hungary with four television channels: M1, M2, Duna TV, Duna 2. ICTV (International Commercial Television) is a privately held TV Channel in Ukraine.
