Baltic Films is the association of three film bodies of Estonia, Latvia and Lithuania. The need for common activities of small countries has developed hand in hand with the growing film production in the region. In Estonia the state film subsidies are forwarded to independent producers by Estonian Film Foundation, in Latvia by National Film Center of Latvia and in Lithuania by the Ministry of Culture. The film bodies also provide information about local film production and studio facilities, intermediate films to festivals and other events.

The Centre for Film Arts in Katowice (Silesia Film - Centrum Sztuki Filmowej) was established in 2006 to promote film culture and art. The Danish Film Institute (DFI) is the government agency responsible for supporting and encouraging film and cinema culture and for conserving these in the national interest. DFI operations extend from participation in the development and production of feature films, short and documentary films, over distribution and marketing, to managing the national film archive and the cinematheque. Film Center Serbia (FCS) is an institution based on the achievements of the highly respected Film Institute (1963-2004). FCS was established in 2004 under the Ministry of Culture, with the aim of strategic development and reconstruction of the Serbian film industry.
FCS was established:
• to creatively stimulate and administer financial support to Serbian cinema on behalf of the Ministry of Culture of Serbia, through annual competitions for screenplay and project development, film production and postproduction.

The organization is an information centre for the audiovisual production in Flanders and Brussels. Flanders Image attends a large number of international festivals and markets. The Greek Film Centre functions as a public liability company that belongs to the broader public sector, is supervised by the Ministry of Culture and subsidized by the state. Its structure, powers and operation are regulated chiefly by Law 1597/86 for the protection and development of the art of film and the support of Greek cinema and by Presidential Decree 113/98. The aims of the Organization are: the protection, support and development of the art of film in Greece, and the presentation, promulgation and promotion of Greek films both at home and abroad. The Greek Film Center organizes film screenings that cover a wide range of film genres. GFC gives priority to the support of Greek films while Filmcenter's main program will include selected quality films from global cinema. Emphasis will be given to reviving the children's program Cineac and to after-midnight screenings.

The Institute of Documentary Film [IDF] is a non-profit training, promotion and networking centre based in Prague, Czech Republic, focused on the support of the EAST EUROPEAN creative documentary film and its wider promotion.
IDF was established in 2001 by directors and producers of documentary film and its program has therefore been formed by creative personalities for creative personalities.
The IDF programme is intended for filmmakers, independent producers and representatives of East and Central European televisions, as well as for festival selectors, journalists and the general public.
