Cinéma Tout Ecran presents television productions on the big screen. The festival has the following sections: 1 Official International Competition - 10 - 15 films from around the world. An international jury composed of cinema personalities awards several prizes; 2 International Series, Collections & Long Dramas - new TV-series and other made-for-TV productions; 3 International Selection of Short Films - best shorts of the previous year; 4 New Releases - new cinema talents and their works; 5 Swiss Competition - a selection of the latest Swiss TV production; 6 Major Film Directors on Small Screen - tribute to an important author who has worked for cinema as well as for television; 7 International Seminar - a seminar for professionals of the audiovisual world; 8 Self-portrait of a Channel - profile of an innovative TV channel; 9 Work in Progress - the event should enable film directors and producers to find additional funds to finalize an on-going project. Cinéma Tous Ecrans showcases films from all genres that reflect the society we live in, from new as well as established directors. We are also interested in films in which technological advances have all sorts of personal and social repercussions. We’re inspired by the phenomenon of cross-media and attentive to the process of storytelling across the various screens.
