Gag Anatomy
An illustrative grotesque in which the protagonists repeatedly comment on a gag carried out. The film was inspired by an essay that Václav Havel wrote titled "Anatomy of a Gag" (1966), and it is the prelude to an inquiry into what a gag actually is, with responses provided by Luděk Sobota, Ladislav Smoljak, Zdeněk Svěrák, Vladimír Just and Karel Vachek, as well as Václav Havel, all of whom offer a different perspective on internal and external laughter, situation comedy, hyperbole, and the principle behind the moment we realise that something is comic and tragic at once.

Aerosomnia

Magic Theatre Club
In the second half of sixties was the period of birth modern actors focused Prague theatre scene Činoherní klub. The theatre was based on thoughtful acting dramaturgy, where the actor is not just used for fulfilling author’s and director’s point of view, but is incorporated into the creative process a partner. The theater group of Činoherní klub in the late sixties means the top of Czech stage acting, the reason was also the fact, that the actors were treated not just a theatre material, but as a specific experience and opinion. Činoherní klub theater was a scene with exceptional actors such as , Vladimír Pucholt, Petr Čepek, Jan Kačer, Josef Abrhám, Pavel Landovský, Jiří Hrzán, Jiří Kodet, Josef Somr, Nina Divíšková, Jiří Zahajský, František Husák, Jiřina Třebická, Věra Galatíková, Libuše Šafránková. On the movie in production we cooperate with authors like Ladislav Smoček, Jaroslav Vostrý and Jan Kačer, we are exploring the inspiration and creative goals on in the historical context and of course the stage acting in general in already legendary and world renowned plays. Quasi magic area of the theatre which was for concentrated creative process determined. The small and shallow stage where each detail was obvious and actor’s cliché doesn’t work has an unique genius loci, where was founded several famous theatre groups and also the civic platform Občasnké fórum responsible for the velvet revolution in 1989. This place mediated a multi personal communication between theather and the reality, which was concerned about focused examination of a human.
