Amazonia Vertical presents the power of nature and an adventurous discovery of a lost world. A film, which will affect the emotions of all of us.

The Tatras a Mystery

The mystery, that is delicate as clounds during a wonderful day and slow sunrise, but also stirring and scary as night thunderbolts. When a man cannot answer the question, why he must always come to the mountains what is evident, that he is seeking.

Pururambo
New Guinea is the largest tropical island in the world. In the era of satellites, this country of mysteries, myths, and undiscovered secrets, hides behind green walls of impenetrable deep forest. In a labyrint of dark swamps, people live high in the trees, in primitive conditions that have changed little since the Stone Age. According to missionaries, the natives practice cannibalism...

Tepuy

Thanks to its almost absolute inaccessibility, prehistoric forms of life have been preserved here that, as endemic species, have survived for million of years. In 2005, a large helicopter props itself upon one of the cliffs of the massive Chimantá Table mountain. Several strong men jump out of it, brought together by their adventurous souls, the stubborn will of the explorer, and an anxiety to penetrate into depths that nobody has ever tried before. Together, they travel to the insides of a satanic mountain, to discover hidden natural phenomena, and to fight back the darkness, damp and difficult terrain, as well as themselves

One of the most distinctive personae of Slovakian mountaineering. A man who stood on top of Mt. Everest. He was one of the old-school mountaineers, who didn't care for ambitions in the mountains, but sought mystical connection with nature. He starts his search in the Central African Republic and the natives lead him across the borders of war-torn Congo. On his adventurous journey he is threatened by jungle elephants and gorillas. Finally, in the depths of the jungle, he discovers a tribe of natural Pygmies who have been living by gathering and hunting for thousands of years and whose joy of life, music, and dance seems without end.
