One of the cruellest kind took place on September 11 1997 in Kurkse strait, Republic of Estonia, when Neptune clasped 22 young innocent men who were wearing military uniforms. The documentary Trip To Valhalla is a double portrait of opposing heroes of this tragedy – harbour captain Heino Kreintal and lieutenant Jaanus Karm. The saver and the saved. The film analyses the dilemma of guilt and guiltlessness resulting from the tragedy in the nature, memories and the present day of both men. It studies the consequences of what happened to the human soul, changes in the human mind and personalities. On the background there is the young state of Estonia.

Those were the times. The Soviet regime found him suspicious. The film tells the singer’s story; speaks of his fate, formed by complicated years full of change. It’s a personal story – one of love, intrigue, and family.
