A story of love that is missing - about begging for it and about an extraordinary need to become adult. Chick got some love as a child, than she experienced drug and alcohol addiction, pick-pocketing and truancy. She affirms she hates her own mother, but simultaneously it`s obvious she would do anything only to hear that her mother loves her. Caroline seems to be an ordinary, joyful girl. The only differnce is that she lives her life in a correction school. Her gloomy past is visible in her behavior - she is nervous, shouts constantly, chainsmokes and has no idea what to do with herself. The other side of her heart is full of love and compassion for dissabled children with whom she works once a week. This is, however, a paintfull experience for her - desiring love for herself she has to give it to children in a social welfare house. Thanks to the times spent with them, she finds out some peace and freedom. And hope for a better future.
