Paul comes from Africa, but wants to live in Estonia. Kadri is from Estonia, but preferes to live in Africa. Following Paul`s attempts to legalize his stay in Estonia, the film investigates Estonian society and its dominating fear from becoming extinct. Although being a white woman, Kadri seems to be more accepted in Kenya than Paul is in Estonia.

In Estonia more than half of all marriages end in divorce and every six children are born without a formal father. Girls, who have been brought up without a father, learn from their mothers that a woman can't count on men. The film follows 25 years old Airika over the course of a year, in her decision to become a single mother and not get married.
