Hon Štěpán
Born February 3rd 1976 in Teplice (Czech republic). In 1994 he moved to Prague. 1995 – 1999 - studies of Journalism in Prague. During studies he visited India, Iran, Pacistan, Kazachstán, Russia, J.A.R. and other.
From 1999 student of photography at Famu (Film and tv department of academy of performing arts).
Black and white documentary photography and documentary movies belong to his main interests. He used to work as official photographer of president office. He cooperate with czech magazines and newspapers (Mladá fronta, Mladý svět, Reflex, Respekt, Týden) and collaborate on shooting of documentary movie. In 2002 he obtaind grant from Czech-German fond for the future of Sudet photography (Českoněmeckého fondu budoucnosti na fotografické zmapování Sudet). He is currently pripering exhibition from those materials and teaching basics of photography at journalist school.
