Left, Right, Forward!
In our documentary film, we follow members of two very different organizations: the young communists and the young conservatives. Through their lives and ideas, we will try to understand why these young people link themselves with politics and how that influences their lives. In the end we will probably find out that although the communists hate the conservatives and vice versa, both these organizations work on the same principles and the motivations for joining them are basically the same. Welcome to North Korea!
In its catalogue, a Czech travel agency offers a "journey into the unknown", a tour of North Korea. This trip was the second time since 1990 that a group of Czech tourists set foot in North Korea. The film follows twenty-seven Czechs who have decided to spend approximately 2,600 Euros on a sightseeing tour of a country which cultivates a cult of personality, maintains concentration camps for its citizens and doesn't hide its development of nuclear weapons. Foreign visitors are only allowed a view of a carefully prepared illusion, thoroughly supervised by "guides". What is more, the North Korean system is starkly reminiscent of the Czechs' own past. Which emotions do our travellers experience: sympathy, nostalgia or, in contrast, happiness that "we already have this behind us"? How does someone, after being accustomed to freedom and democracy, come to terms with the directives and restrictions of a totalitarian system?

Earthlings, Who Are You Voting for?
The film shows that even mentally handicapped people can get their bearings in public spaces and have a political opinion. The crew followed a phenomenon which affects all of us; elections to the Chamber of Deputies of the Czech Republic. They participated in pre-election meetings, recording surveys of unusual topics with citizens as well as politicians. External cameras captured everything; the reactions of the security personnel, the supporters as well as opponents of particular political parties. The film crew also investigated whether pre-election promises are but empty slogans, attempting to reveal to which extent the prejudice against everything that is not "completely normal" is still rooted in the Czech society 20 years after the revolution.

A documentary collage about the progress of one Czech day, composed by 24 directors. Everyone picked one hour, day or night, and received two minutes of the whole film at his or her disposal. This allowed for the mosaic on genres and topics that portrait the atmosphere of the Czech Republic today. At the same time, this unique project presents various filmmaking styles and approaches of the best contemporary Czech documentarians, all on the reel of one film. The authors accompany teenagers at a discotheque, observe doctors during surgery, laborers in a factory, believers in a synagogue or the descent in a human throat. Olga Špátová records the authentic power of the moment when the child is born. Vít Klusák engages a special camcorder to freeze the time of one tram stop. The flow of time is Helena Třeštíková’s topic – she films Katka taking yet another public bath in a Prague’s fountain. Martin Mareček shows a pair of legs sunk in aquarium, which, backed with a voiceover, illustrates the timeless power of human stupidity. Jiří Krejčík, a significant persona of Czech film, conceived his film hour with a great amount of humor and exaggeration.

Paca Mama is an Inkas name for the god Mother earth. This movie is about the hard miner’s life on the background of the beautiful Ands nature. The film is situated in the “silver city” in Bolivia, Potosi.

Beginnings
In June 2012, three girls who reached majority leave the Educational Institution for Children and Youth in Počátky. The newly found freedom means the loss of support once provided by the youth home and they have no families to fall back on. From now on they have to be independent and learn to live on their own. They will soon find out whether Czech society offers any opportunities to social outsiders.
