Laufer Erez
Erez Laufer is the editor of the 2006 Oscar nominee for Best Documentary My Country My Country, directed by Laura Poitras. His own film Mike Brant, Laisse-moi t'aimer won the 2002 Israeli Academy Award for Best Documentary and was screened at the 2003 Directors Fortnight, Cannes IFF. Other films: Cry of the Owl; The Darien Dilemma; Rafting to Bombay. He is currently working on One Day After Peace, a travelogue through South Africa. He has worked on numerous projects with renowned filmmakers Chris Hegedus and D. A. Pennebaker, including the Oscar-nominated The War Room; Woodstock Diary; Startup.com, and Only the Strong Survive. Erez was also involved with numerous international documentary film projects: STEPS, South Africa 2001 - an international HIV/AIDS film campaign for the international TV market; Africa 10, South Africa 2003; and also Why Democracy?, Steps India, mentoring The Green House, IDFA summer school and Archidoc.
