Through the words of former IRA activists and archive footage drawn from un-broadcast private collections, the documentary charts the evolution of Irish Republicanism before the Northern "Troubles" the documentary offers a fascinating inside account of the bloody events of the six year border campaign.
Irina has 20 years experience in the film industry on features, documentaries and shorts as assistant editor, film editor, assistant director, director and producer. After graduating from film school in 1984, Irina worked in the Romanian National Studio (established 1958, produced over 600 features) as lab technician and from 1986 to 1993 as assistant editor/film editor and assistant director on feature films with Dinu Tanase, Serban Marinescu, Vlad Paunescu, Vivi Dragan, Nicolae Margineanu, and Valery Jereghe among others. Irina directs and edits films in various languages for different broadcasters and audiences. It therefore becomes imperative that Irina finds both the universal and the cultural uniqueness of each film and keeping the integrity and essence of the central idea.
