I Will Marry the Whole Village
Peca, an accordion player, has decided to marry all the unmarried men in his village. His motto is „I’m going to marry the whole village, even if I regret it“. He is naive, he is a modern Don Quixote. Doccomedy – a music documentary about a Serbian village and an ordinary man who wants to change the system. Peca, has decided to take the matter into his own hands and to carry out a great project aiming at marrying the young and old by attracting women to the village. And to get married himself in the end.

A F-117A plane using stealth technology which is supposed to make it invisible crashed in April 1999 during the air attack of NATO forces on Yugoslavia. While Serbian media celebrated the crash as a success of the Serbian army, the official statement of NATO said that the plane crashed due to a technical defect. The story of the plane, symbolically transformed into a baked cake, evolves the portray of a retired colonel who was in that time in charge of the air defense and who now works as a baker.
The Long Road, Driving Through the Balkan History
Almost 20 years since the collapse of the old Yugoslavia, the time has finally come for the ultimate Balkan road movie… Two writers, a Croat and a Serb share the driving in a Yugo, the ultimate symbol of their common past, and drive it from one end to the other of the road once known as the "Highway of Brotherhood and Unity". It is a journey through the past, present and future… from Slovenia to Macedonia, via Croatia, Bosnia and Serbia. They aim to look at their common past, find out how history has set them apart, ask where the present is leading them and have a lot of fun while travlling.

Zeljko Mirkovic (1972) Graduated tv directing at Academy of Art Belgrade at 1999. Finishing postgraduate studies at ETMA (European Television Management Academy) Strasbourg, France. He is dedicated documentary filmmaker with a big experience in production, pitching forums, documentary festivals. He has been awarded with 24 international awards for his films. Owner of production company Optimistic film.
