Now in her twenties, she connected with the members of the charismatic christian "Triumphal Center of Faith" (arm of the "Word of Faith "church) to map out, just what makes a person addicted to Jesus. The resulting documentary offers a candid look at how easy and also how hard a life filled with Jesus could be.
Noah's rainbow is the metaphor of our vision of human existence on the Earth together with God's promises to forever protect mankind from the flood. The story of the project is specific in a way, it moves from macrocosms to microcosms and vice versa, with the story of biblical Noah as the common element. We try to show Noah’s story in today’s world. From the general analysis about global warming and flooding in the Netherlands and biblical stories, we get to the main character Noah from the Bohemian Forest. He is the actual catalyst of the story: We will get to know him, his family, job, airplanes and his neighbours, a Dutch family whom we will follow from the beginning, capturing their life in the Netherlands, their relocation to a wooden house in the Bohemian forest and their meeting with Noah.
Meeting (with) the consequences
Max Van Der Stoel was the first Western politician who met with the Charter 77 signatories. Though lasting only ten minutes, the meeting had an immense impact. Van Der Stoel's act provided the Charter 77 with media interest across all of Europe. Sadly, the event also had some negative consequences. Jan Patočka, the then-spokesman of the movement who also attended the meeting, died twelve days after being interrogated. Exploring the value of individual courage, the need to fight evil, and the boundary which each person defines for themselves as the limit that cannot be crossed, this documentary is also about how we deal with the consequences of our decisions.
