"I strived to make a film about great excessive love, a film about the reality in Poland, about the atmosphere there. Yes, that's what I intended to do." (Pawel Siczek)
Sigrid und Franz
For the fist time in her life Sigrid takes an old video camera and starts filming - the disappearing of her husband Franz. She documents his last weeks, swears at him and tries to keep him alive. Franz keeps silent. But in his eyes you can see him observing his own death. Many years before he wrote about it - in his wonderful, sad poems he anticipated his last moments. A film about love and narcissism in the face of death.
