"I'm not able to express my love for women. I'm not sensitive enough", says Zahradil. As soon as his relationship problems appeared, he started realizing that his troublesome childhood experience is to blame. He realized that it was his mother who ruined his life and that it is because of her that he will never be a normal loving man. So one day, seized by an alcoholic fit, he decided to settle the score. He shot her. He was sentenced for twenty years for murder, however, due to good behaviour and a number of mitigating circumstances he was released in the middle of his sentence. The film crew meets him the moment he is leaving the prison. He is telling his childhood memories to be later reconstructed with the help of actors. Besides, we also follow his current life and his attempts to become part of the society.
