Small Victorious War
Dalian is a flourishing Chinese city with two million inhabitants. It is a jewel for tourists. It was a Russian town once, called Dalny (literally, Far City). Russian used to sound on these streets. Russian ladies and gentlemen used to take their walks here. Local shops and stores abounded with Russian goods. For us, then, it was as natural as a Made in China label is today. Nearby, there was another Russian town known all over the world as Port Arthur. It is the forgotten century-old events that we relate in our movie...

As if Waiting a Bus
The Provinces. Winter. Evening. A bus stop. A car with some young lads stops next to a beautiful young girl. What happens then, in a direct and figurative sense, happens to everybody. The film is dedicated to everyone who is waiting for a bus.

Pianonizm
"Pianonizm" (lat.) means professional piano playing, which in its turn means mastering the instrument virtuously. The film's protagonist Sergei Musayelyan, an Honored Artist of Russia, laureate of international music competitions, "Man of the Year according to the North American Biographical Centre," comes to the U.S. to prepare himself for the most important concert in his life. The term steming from the title only emphasizes the hero's relationship to his music as well as the attitude of the professional community.

Space Dog
"Space Dog" is when you deeply breathe, like a dog, then you stand up by a wall and your throat is choked. After loss of consciousness, you can see special dreams, hallucinations in which the desirable stands out for the valid. "Space Dog" is children's ordinary game. There is a lot of similar names, we call them all "Choking Games". Games with suffocation. Our hero lives a full teenage life: school, friends, football, clubs, first love. When he was younger, he also played "Space Dog". Now he needs to return to it again. Approx. 1000 teenagers around the world have died from such choking games within last 10 years.
