Weaving interviews with bold animation, The Officer's Wife explores the collision of truth, justice and memory in a family tragedy. The family tragedy that is a direct result of Katyn is rarely, if ever, discussed. Two million families (mostly wives, children and direct relatives of the murdered officers) were taken from their homes in Poland and deported to Siberia by the Soviets in 1940 and the U.S. and Great Britain took an active role in covering it up. Over half were dead within one year. This is their story.

Piotr Uzarowicz is an award-winning innovative producer and production manager with over 14 years production experience in both fiction and non fiction storytelling. He leads the entire production process - from developing and assessing creative pitches and establishing budgets to scheduling casting, managing crews and successfully executing complicated on-location shoots. He delivers projects on time and on budget. Because of his earlier career as a Vice-President and Creative Director for the largest public relations agency in the world, he is experienced in working with crossfunction executive-level teams in creating consumer-focused original content across multiple platforms. Currently, he heads Goats Hill, LLC and is the producer behind the award-winning documentary, THE OFFICER’S WIFE.
