East Doc Platform continues with the morning session held by a delegation of filmmakers, producers and institution representatives. This time, at 9am, Archa Theatre´s Small Hall presents Co-production Breakfast with Bulgaria. An hour later, another day of East Silver Videolibrary begins and continues for twelve hours until 10pm. Besides that, however, there is going to be the first of the two East European Forum pitching sessions, which takes place from 10am till 1.30pm. It is the climax of the Forum workshop intensive training. Since Monday, the 16 selected Eastern European projects were tutored by Mikael Opstrup and Marijke Rawie and now focuses on the final pitching and the following negotiations at Feedback Round Tables, where particular deals concerning financing or other forms of support are being made. During Friday’s East Doc Platform opening ceremony, Hanna Pollak’s project Zvalka was announced the best Eastern European Forum project in development and production. At 3pm, other 61 documentary projects meet with decision makers at the last block of individual meetings within Project Market. At the same time, all the accredited film professionals are invited to visit the East Silver Tour and see the East Silver team introduce the operation of the largest documentary market in the region that focuses exclusively on Central and Eastern European productions. Meanwhile, selected guests are about meet over the Visegrad region film legislature in a session titled Closer Look. At 5pm, public may look forward to the Inspiration talk given by Pavel Kostomarov who will introduce the in-development project Zip Cities, upgrading his stylistic and structural approach to an exceptional experiment. Shortly after him, the Small Hall in Archa Theatre opens a public panel discussion about contemporary distribution environment. Progressive forms of online distribution and chances of older sales models for survival will be discussed by renowned professionals in the field. The day closes with networking dinner and a get-together party with One World festival in Lucerna bar.
