A travel on the trail of Jerzy Grotowski: an outstanding reformer of 20th century theatre. Ludwik Flaszen, the co-creator of the Laboratory Theatre shows spectators around Grotowski’s Wrocław. His tale about his friendship with the director, their common fascinations and artistic research interweaves with excerpts of registered performances, television programmes and documentaries, as well as unpublished photos, allowing the spectator to catch the phenomenon of the Laboratory in the historical context.

02-739 Warsaw The mission of the National Audiovisual Institute (Narodowy Instytut Audiowizulany, abbreviated to NInA) aimed at making the most noble and significant examples of Polish audiovisual culture widely available. As Polish Audiovisual Publishing House, founded in 2005, it brought back excellent documentaries (“Polish School of Documentary Movies”) and animations (“The Anthology of Polish Animation”) series. In 2009 Polish Audiovisual Publishing House was renamed to National Audiovisual Institute, which is to become a leading cultural institution in the field of digitilisation and publishing of archives documenting Polish Audiovisual heritage.
