Projects submitted for the March 2012 editions of East European Forum, Doc Launch presentation and Project Market are being reviewed. The final selection will be narrowed down and announced no later than February 6.

Sheltering the new editions of traditional events such as the 12th edition of the East European Forum with 20-24 projects in production, the 3rd edition of the Doc Launch presentation with 10 projects in post-production, or the 8th edition of the East Silver Video Library, the new model offers also an enriched and fine-tuned version of IDF one-on-one-meeting platform Project Market. In addition to that, IDF will not cease to hold  Master Classes with renowned filmmakers, Case Studies focusing of various aspects of documentary film, Seminars held by film professionals, inspiring Lectures, regular Networking Dinners or profile Co-production Breakfasts.

Accreditation details will be announced in the beginning on January.

The East Doc Platform hosts our staple events, such as the East European Forum, Doc Launch presentation, Project Market, and the East Silver video library with fresh spring documentary offerings. Organized by Institute of Documentary Film in association with the One World International Human Rights Documentary Film Festival.

Forum Workshop is organized by IDF within the new East Doc Platform. It is a five-day event designed for East European Forum and Ex Oriente Film participants who join together to enhance their pitcching skills and fine-tune their presentation visuals before they enter the public pitching session on Saturday and Sunday.

East Silver Videolibrary is organized by IDF within the new East Doc Platform. It is the only film market supporting exclusively producers and distributors from Central and Eastern Europe. Every year, about 300 new films from more than 30 countries are introduced by the market and made available through a searchable, up-to-date digital archive of more than 2000 titles with full film credits and trailers.

Open programme is part of East Doc Platform, organized by IDF. It consits of several East Doc Platform programme features that are accessible to broader public: lectures, seminars, case studies, master classes - all that brings renowned documentarians and contemporary trends in the field closer to the audiences.

East Doc Platform Open Programme is open to accredited professionals, as well as to all One World festival pass holders.

Doc Launch Presentations consulting is organized by IDF within the new East Doc Platform.  It is a preparatory workshop which precedes the actual presentation and offers rough cut consultations with renowned editors and consultations of distribution strategy with festival selectors and distributors.

Project Market is organized by IDF within the new East Doc Platform. It offers filmmakers with in-development projects a smartly structured system of one-on-one meetings with key film professionals, based on in-advance scheduling and a scheduling service available also on the spot during the event.

Project Market is open to selected participants, accredited professionals and authors of in-development projects.

Doc Launch Presentation is organized by IDF within the new East Doc Platform. The selection of directors and producers presents their projects in rough-cut stage, taking the opportunity of the public display that helps their films make a successful transition into distribution. The projects mainly seek further festival release, sales and international distribution.

The East European Forum public presentations are organized by IDF within the new East Doc Platform. The presentations are the climax of the Forum workshop, allowing the directors and producers introduce their documentary projects to a wide spectrum of film professionals from Europe and North Americas. Both the presentation sessions are followed by Feedback Round Tables, providing the participants with a chance to negotioate with selected decision makers.
