Anthropoesis Center

Anthropoesis is an independent film production and innovation centre funded by film director and visual anthropologist Ionut Piturescu with the purpose to accelerate the process of education and production within social and visual research, transmedia and cinema. Investigating themes like individual and collective identity, representation, human rights and crisis interaction, the projects produced by Anthropoesis have explored for more than 15 years communities which were under political, social and economic strain in: Mexico, Morocco, USA, the Arctics, Iberia, Scandinavia, France, Italy, Germany, South-East Asia, Pacific Siberia, South-East Europe and Romania.
