Maja Lindquist has a broad experience of working with programming and presenting documentaries to new audiences. She has been involved in the Nordic documentary screening network and distributor company Doc Lounge since it’s beginning in Malmö in 2006 and is now the director of the organisation that operates in 18 Nordic cities. Previously Maja worked for the Swedish art house cinema Folkets Bio and as the coordinator for the European network of independent culture houses, Trans Europe Halles. She was also the Head of Programme at Nordisk Panorma Filmfestival between 2015 and 2018.
