Founder of the production company Luna Film based in Bucharest, Romania, Irina strongly believes that good stories and strong characters make the perfect combination for positive change and inspiration. Her portfolio includes projects that are socially challenging, while emotionally engaging– the documentary features THE LAND YOU BELONG, TOO CLOSE, TEACH, I AM HERCULES. Irina co-produced and locally distributed the Bosnian drama THE SON and was Romanian executive producer for the Bulgarian co-production PALACE FOR THE PEOPLE. Since 2023 she is running the documentary workshop Astra Doc Tank, part of Astra Film Festival, Romania.
