Moniek Wester Keegstra is an independent documentary (web)filmmaker. She worked with NGO’s like Docteurs without Borders, Oxfam Novib and Amnesty International. Gaza, Gabbers, Graffity’ co-produced by Amnesty International was nominated for the Prix d’Europe. She is interested in digital storytelling for different platforms. Moniek was involved as filmmaker and creator of the online platform 26000 Faces with 99 short film portraits about asylum seekers in the Netherlands. She is co-creator of the online Lifeboat Project. Furthermore she works as an editor, interview trainer and film coach.
