Born and bred in the Sheffield region, Luke joined the team in 2016 from BRITDOC Foundation where he commissioned international award-winning feature documentaries across the Channel 4, Puma, Bertha BRITDOC and Pulse BRITDOC film funds for six years. He also managed UK impact distribution campaigns for Laura Poitras’ Academy Award-winning CITIZENFOUR and Richard Rowley’s Academy Award-nominated Dirty Wars, including commissioning new artworks from Deutsche Börsche prize-winning Trevor Paglen and recent Serpentine digital commission artist James Bridle. Recently he co-founded and curated digital platform Something Real and documentary festival FRAMES of REPRESENTATION at ICA, London.
