At Krakow Film Festival we awarded full-length documentary project Do Painters Die Elsewhere by director Michał Pietrak and invited him to participate at East Doc Platform 2024 on East Silver Market programme. With this award we want to encourage a talented young filmmaker on his first documentary journey towards an original portrait of the artist Bolek and his house.

Do Painters Die Elsewhere (Dokąd umierają malarze)

Bolko is an 85-years-old painter, confronting with childless death. His sixty years old, self-built house is slowly disapearing in to the garden. Do Painters Die Elsewhere is a documentary about an artist and his house, a story
of disapearing.
