Directing: Pero Kvesić

Synopsis

The ancient Egyptian god Anubis reincarnated as a black dog, the alter ego of a contemporary Croatian writer with health issues. By trading a keyboard for a camera, the author writes a documentary visual essay. His personal point of view introduces us to the world he is saying goodbye to, enjoying every moment. Dum Spiro Spero is Latin saying meaning As long as I breathe, I hope. Still today it is the motto of all those who persevere to the very end, literally and metaphorically. Combining everyday life, books and death, the author speaks about losing life strength and the power to cope with it.
