Ocean

Ocean is a story that takes us from the European coast of the Atlantic, through the Caribbean Sea, to the Hawaiian Islands. The author of the film, who is in the same time the protagonist - Tamara, starts the big journey. At that "end of the world" she will spill the ash of her friend Toni into the Pacific Ocean. Last winter she spent next to him, while he was dying. About that winter - the last moment of life, she is making a film. This film is a kind of logbook. Poetically it reconstructs the moment of the death of a loved one, by chronicling the events; namely, the lack of developments in the situation brought by limited space of the cargo ship. She is with her friend Mate. Their endeavor carries the story and the audience on a journey through the unknown. It takes shape in the sea wave's glittering sparks and magnificent width of the horizon at the open sea.
