Among Houses and the Cosmos

Research and poetry at the same time, it is a story about the human necessity to impose meaningful patterns on life and being -- and about the desire to be lost again. It contains scenes with people engaged in some ritual action: writing something on a piece of paper; pointing out that one card; throwing beans on a table; reading the lines drawn in the sand.
Koštana Banović made a film about the video footage she brought with her from her many travels in Europe, Africa and Latin America. The footage itself, the material residue of the filmmaker’s impulses to take the camera and push the button, is allowed to speak.
