3 Continents Festival

The Festival of 3 Continents is an International Film Festival devoted to the presentation of feature fiction films and documentaries from Africa, Asia and Latin America. The aim of the festival is to use the medium of fiction films and documentaries to make possible confrontations of cultures from the different countries of the three continents. Nantes, a seaport on the Atlantic coast, is a particularly appropriate meeting place, since it continues to be a gateway to these three continents. The festival also wants to promote the distribution of films from the three continents, and to help artists achieve recognition for creative work that is often produced under extremely difficult conditions.
