NexT International Film Festival

Launched in 2007, NexT International Film Festival is the biggest event in Romania dedicated to short and medium length films. With over 100 short films selected every year, two competitive sections and many other special programs, NexT is one of the most eclectic festivals in the Romanian film industry, a panorama of the innovative and imaginative cinema bringing together artists from the entire world. Starting with the 2014 edition, NexT added to its agenda two sections designed to support developing short film projects and to encourage the production of new Romanian short films: The Pitch (in partnership wit ShortsTV) și NexT Short Film Market. Documentary films are eligible only for non-competitive sections.
