Terence Dunn is a British music composer currently based in London. He obtained a first class honours degree in music composition for film at Northbrook College in Worthing, winning the competition for best graduation music. After securing a place at the National Film and Television School on the MA for composition for Film and TV, Terence was awarded the PRS foundation scholarship and the Alan Hawkshaw music scholarship and subsequently scored a documentary, Sexters (2013), which was aired on Channel 5.

His most recent projects include the BBC and BFI funded feature documentary A Syrian Love Story (2015) by Sean McAllister,which won the grand jury prize at Sheffield Docfest, Edmond (2015), winner of the grand jury prize & the CANAL+ Creative aid award at Annecy International Animation Festival and best short animation at Guanajuato International Film Festival, ManOmaN (2015) which was selected for the 2015 Cannes Film Festival and Group B (2015) which was a finalist in the selection for a Student Academy Award. In 2014 he scored Slap (2014) which went on to be nominated for a BAFTA and won best short film at the Edinburgh film festival. Terence has scored commercials for clients including Jaguar and Moneysupermaket.com and employs a unique cinematic use of electronic, acoustic and orchestral styles, often blurring the lines between sound design and music, showing versatility, bold originality and careful consideration to narrative.
He has commercially released two albums as artist Man Made Noise and was also a contributor for a compilation of Phillip Larkin’s Poetry set to music.
