Director, writer, cameraman, editor and photographer from Saint Petersburg. Created a number of editorial and contemporary photographic and cinematic projects as photographer, cameraman and director. Including commissioned for UNESCO, Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Russia, Russian Centre for Science and Culture and others. Alexey is a member of Russian Documentary and TV Guild. As a director Alexey has a particular interest in the area of cross-cultural diffusion. His last film Conduction (2015) – is about work of iconic modern conductor Teodor Currentzis. His man principles are: to use cinematic language for storytelling (no voice-over) and give the audience space for their personal reflection.
